Blessing Shed
The Blessing Shed
Our Blessing Shed is an expansion of our Blessing Box. The Box was open 24/7 to the community. The goal of this mission was to offer food with no strings attached. Anyone could put food in the box or take food out. The Blessing Shed is exactly the same just at a larger scale. We try our best to keep it stocked, and tend to stock it Mondays. However, we are very thankful that community helps keep it stocked as well.
How to get involved?
How to get involved?
1) Donate Food! We prefer non-perishable food items as they keep better in the shed. However, fresh foods like potatoes that don't need to be kept cold seem to always be a hit when they are in the shed and get taken quickly.
2) Donate Books! If you have any books laying around feel free to add them to the library section of the shed.
3) Donate Pet Supplies! Got an extra can of cat food? Or maybe your dog just didn't really love that toy. Feel free to add that to our pet pantry in the shed so it may get used by someone else's fur-baby.
4) Tell people about it! Know someone who is going through a tough time and could use some food or cleaning supplies? Let them know about the Blessing Shed. It's there for those who need it 24/7.
5) Donate Financially. This is never expected but always accepted. You may drop off a check or cash to the church office. We also offer a direct link to donate to our Blessing Shed through our online giving .
