The Coffee House is Open!
Our coffee house offers multiple events for all age groups. The one thing they all have in common is coffee, tea, food, and fellowship!
We are excited to say after dealing with some water damage we open with wonderful new flooring.
Typical Coffee House Happenings:
Children & Youth
Our coffee house started as a mission for youth in the local community. It is open on the 4th Saturday a month to youth 5th to 12th grade from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Youth can come and enjoy fellowship time together playing games, doing puzzles and, of course, drinking coffee, tea or other coffee house beverages. The mission was and still is to offer a safe place for youth to just be youth.
Adults
We have been expanding the Cornerstone Coffee House to offer more activities that can branch out to adults as well.
Book Club
All adults are welcome to join in on the last Thursday of the month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for discussion over a good book. Simply read the book of the month and take part in discussion while enjoying coffee, tea and heavy snacks.
All Ages
With our expanding we also wanted to offer time for the Coffee House to be a space for families together.
Community Night
All are welcome to join us for our community nights! These happen on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Community nights sometimes have a specific theme, but most of the time are there as a place to hang out with friends and family. Enjoy, coffee, tea, and snacks! Community nights are free to those under the age of 18, and we ask for a suggested donation of $5 to those above the age of 18.
How to get involved?
1) Stop by! Got a youth from 5th to 12th grade? Feel free to just come by with them on one of the Saturdays we are open. Are you an adult? Then stop by during our community nights or join our book club!
2) Talk About It! All youth from 5th through 12th grade are welcome on youth night. All adults are welcome on community night and to join the book club! So, if you hear of anyone who might be interested feel free to let them know!
3) Donate Financially. This is never expected but always accepted. You may either drop off a check or cash or donate online with the button below.
